Our animals are transported in twos to the abattoir. From there the chilled carcasses are transported to our Hamilton meat processor, where they are hung on the bone, before processing.

We sell primals and prime mince.  All .primals are vacuum packed and sold as full or half fillets.  Our prime mice is sold in 500gr vacuum packs

 

Processing:
Our award winning beef is processed at the Ruakura Abattoir, in Hamilton. The chilled carcasses are transported to the meat processor, where they are hung on the bone, before processing.

All beef is sliced, vacuum packed, assorted and packed in aluminum lined cooler bags before being shipped overnight to our customers, nationally.

Ordering:
All orders are placed through our web site, or you can email us – with payment by bank internet payment.

Shipping:
We ship just once a month. All order are assorted and production done over two days. The cooked pies are blast chilled and when the temperature reaches 1 degree, each pie is packed into its individual box. Your eight-pack order is then selected and packed, with an ice pad between the pies. The courier picks up the chilled pies for distribution, as late in the day as possible, to ensure the pies arrive at your place nice and cool.

Eating:
On receipt, the beef should be refrigerated where it can be safely stored for up to seven days before eating.  We recommend that cuts not being eaten straight away should be frozen – where they can last for up to 12 months before being eaten.
